Deleting your data

How to ask

Email ollie@adeptspace.com with the subject Delete my data. Tell us your name and, if you can, your surveyor initials or the building you worked in, so we can find the right record.

There is no form to fill in and no account to log into. We will confirm by reply, and complete it within 30 days.

• Your surveyor record — name, initials, phone number, email address, notes and the tablet you were issued.
• Your portal login, if you were given one.
• Your signature on the surveyor briefing, and the record that you signed it.
• The location fixes taken at the start and end of your walks.
• Photos and messages you sent us through "Report an issue".

The survey readings. They are a record of how a client's building was used — which desks were occupied at 11am on a Tuesday — and they belong to that client's study. We remove the link between those readings and you, so they no longer identify who recorded them, but we do not delete the readings themselves. Deleting them would destroy the client's results, not your personal data.

Anything we are required to keep. Invoices and payment records have to be retained for tax purposes for six years, regardless of a deletion request. Those stay, and nothing else does.
